It is a cover of Lulu and the Lampshades' song "Cups (You're Gonna Miss Me)", a rendition of an old-time folk song "When I'm Gone" recorded in 1931 by the Carter Family, with later versions by J. E. Mainer's Mountaineers andCharlie Monroe. It also serves as the official song of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
