"I Love It" is a song by Swedish pop duo Icona Pop featuring British recording artist Charli XCX. It was released in May 2012 as a digital download in Sweden. The song was added to her debut studio album Icona Pop, as well as their EP Iconic. The song entered the Swedish Singles Chart at number 48 and has peaked to number 2. The song first gained attention in the United States as the theme song for the MTV Jersey Shore spinoff,Snooki & JWoww. The song was featured in the January 2013 episode "Bad Friends" of the HBO show Girls, following which the song performed better in digital downloads than upon initial release and the March 2013 episode "Bring It On" of the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The song was covered on the Glee episode "All or Nothing".
The song was placed on multiple year-end lists, including Rolling Stone, which ranked it at number 35, and Pitchfork, which ranked it at number 50. The song became Icona Pop's first US hit, reaching the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, later going on to sell over 1.2 million copies in the United States alone.
