The electropop song was written by Kesha, Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, Cirkut, and fun. singer Nate Ruess. Recorded in July 2011, Kesha wrote the lyrics after traveling around the world and embarking on a spiritual journey.
"Die Young" charted in multiple countries, debuting at 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
